My name is Daisy Luna and I am a bilingual therapist. As a therapist, I enjoy working with teenagers, young adults, and adults struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders. I also enjoy working with families and discussing parenting skills. My approach to treatment is mostly cognitive-behavioral therapy but I also implement techniques from various treatment models in order to create a unique experience for each client. One of my favorite quotes is, “The best way out is always through” by Robert Frost and I believe therapy is a way for clients to learn skills to help them get “through” their difficult situations.

2. One of my favorite workouts is kickboxing/muay thai

As a therapist, I believe it's important to provide you with a non judgmental space that allows you to explore all that you wish to see. I truly believe therapy is like a flashlight that is there to help you see all the possible routes but in the end you are choosing the route that is best for you!
Fun facts:
1. I have multiple pets (dogs, birds)
2. On my spare time I enjoy offloading, camping and hiking so most of my weekends are spent outdoors!

I am a bilingual therapist with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I have a passion for working with adolescents, young adults, or families struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and life/academic transitions.
I work from a psychodynamic and cognitive-behavior model. I also approach therapy from a non-judgemental, collaborative way in order to tailor to the needs of the client and allow them to explore different aspects of their life. Therapy can be a place where we can become "unstuck" from where we are in our life's path.

1. Music is a major part of my life and have made multiple playlists for many occasions!
2. My favorite sport is soccer (but I also enjoy basketball and cycling).
3. In my free time I enjoy going to the beach, hiking, and shopping.
